VoC: The Forsaken Maiden

VoC: The Forsaken Maiden is the next chapter in the game series Voice of Cards. Gameplay wise while this game does have a new narrator Game Master, who I did enjoy a lot more than the previous Game Master, I found that majority of the game remained the same, apart from the story, obviously. I was hoping for some differences when compared to the previous games, especially with the combat. But the combat table is exactly the same, and the combat structure is exactly the same as well. Which, while remaining familiar, it's a bit disappointing that there isn't anything different with the combat system or the combat table. VoC: The Forsaken Maidens structure is exactly the same as the previous versions with nothing really new to bring to this version of the game except for the new Game Master.

It's satisfying to make a move that will instantly damage your given opponent. The dice give you a set of skills and using them wisely will determine if you'll proceed to the next round. The game is not that easy, yet it gives me accomplishment whenever I attack the opponent with a single slash!

Voice of Cards: The Forsaken Maiden is a table-top RPG game in video game format. It has recently been ported to the Android and iOS Mobile platforms, after first releasing back in 2022 for Playstation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC. 🟩Pros +Open exploration and an adventurous tone +Table-top RPG based aesthetic and gameplay +Engaging turn-based combat system + game with no ads, or pay-to-win mechanics, but there are purchasable cosmetics

I must say that the Japanese voiceover adds a cool vibe while playing. The game's file is large enough for my phone, but I managed to install it without hassle. With every move, there will come a certain consequence, yet there are times that I will go back -- I know, I'm still new to this.

It's most important in a game to know how to play it and what characters you are dealing with. I have played VoC before and this is one of the highlights that I look into the most. This game has been better and loved that I could give it a try again~
