ONE PIECE ODYSSEY (PC)

Let’s face it: When an anime is adapted to a video game, it usually sucks. Nine times out of ten, any game based off a popular anime feels like a cheap, quick cash-in, squeezing dedicated fans for as much money as possible while offering the bare minimum in of gameplay experience. One Piece Odyssey breaks with this tradition, delivering a game that is worthy of the over-the-top, adventurous antics of Monkey D. Luffy and friends. What’s here may not be a perfect game, and it’s probably not going to appeal to gamers who aren’t already

Today we are looking at a One Piece Odyssey! This game has had fans in the middle after seeing the trailers, updates, and new visuals. Fans have been impressed with how the game was coming along and love that One Piece games are expanding into different genres. We hope to see more with future One Piece games. Summary: The famed pirate, Monkey D.Luffy, better known as Straw Hat Luffy, and his Straw Hat Crew, are sailing across the New World in search of the next island and the next adventure that awaits them.

ONE PIECE ODYSSEY is something special. A rare occurrence; there’s finally a good Anime game that isn’t a hack and slash or a fighting game, as it instead features a fresh JRPG turn-based combat system. A nice change of pace and a solid design decision worthy of our attention. The plot of ONE PIECE ODYSSEY inserts us into one of the many adventures of Luffy and his Straw Hat Crew, caught in a storm and shipwrecked on a tropical island. Becoming separated, Luffy must reunite with his crewmates and escape the Island.
