Cross Summoner:R

In some ways, I feel bad for Cross Summoner:R. It’s not a bad game, but it really never had a chance at seriously impressing me. Yesterday I posted a review of Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent, a new gacha-based mobile RPG from Square Enix. If you read that review, you’ll know that I was really impressed with that game, going so far as to call it the best-written mobile JRPG I’ve ever played. If not for some annoying technical issues, I would easily have given it a rare five-star score. It’s that good.

There are many games of this type currently available and you can see all kinds of similar games. Only the character settings and plots will be slightly different. For what can really attract me, first is the visual effect, followed by the gameplay. The art style of this game is obviously not bad, and the characters have live 2D effects. Unfortunately, the animation in battle is a bit too ordinary. When I release the same animation of special skills again and again, boredom appears.

Game has been fully released as of August 4, This game is a letdown in many ways especially with the vip system giving unfair advantage. Ofcorse it makes sense to spend money to get powerful, but at this day of age, having a vip level, dumping the most money to get all the perks is just scummy. On top of that there is no pity system or % system that tells when and what you can pull for. No logbook to keep track of record. Rairty consist of R* to Ur*. Dont get your hopes up because the 10 pulls consist of Ur* and Ssr* shards which you need a certain amount to fully unlocked which defeats the whole point of the gacha summoning. I dont mean to slap a "dont play this game cause p2w" but this game is only for the super wealthy people.. The description on each vip level up to lvl 15 will just make you uninstall for a f2p. This game shut down at first, I predict it will shutdown a couple years from now. I've been blessed with UR* unit so its kind of immoral for me to rant about the negative aspect of the game
