Story
💬 Good time killer with pretty visuals. You won't be tired due to lack of content because every move in this game has giant consequences which always keeps your attention and brain on.
🎮 Quick time 4X strategy in which you have lots of different tribes(they're paid), but only 4 on the start. Differences between those are on minimum except for special tribes with a way higher price tags. You've got a map, resources to gather, players to conquer and scores to beat. Multiplayer unlock on any tribe purchase which is not suitable for a common mobile monetization type, it's partially F2P. Controls are excellent as well as overall gameplay in Polytopia, it's "for kids". In a nutshell whole gameplay is spawn luck + single strategy for most of the tribes which works both for single and multiplayer. You might try yourself in tryharding those leaderboards but in my opinion this is what makes this game not excellent but good, it's just too boring for me to repeat every move in the same way I did in previous games.
🖼️ Visuals are vibrant and bright, developers stylized game very well which is an extra W personally from me. But it may be hard sometimes to spot units and other key moments after playing about 15 minutes. On top of that game offers paid skins for... Paid tribes, y-yeahh. I can provide an example when similar game like Antiyoy added hours of extra gameplay just adding maps, scenarios and expanded diplomacy, but this game punches with extended progression and a great list of units and buildings. Also I have to mention interesting music for different tribes.
🤖 Bots are smart but not enough to entertain you after a couple of sessions. This is where multiplayer kicks in. It's funny and interesting on start but very frustrating and just uninteresting when you mastered one tribe, then you figure out other tribes have almost the same strategy patterns but different startings. I've not met any bugs in this game, no stutters, no lags, no single rough aspect. This is a solid and complete time killer with small amount of content.
