Ok this is gonna sound like cope but here goes.
I just had the worst outcome of pulling in this game. 0 into pity I used up 77 and lost the 50/50 to Rina. Then I spent all the rest I had 79 pulls and Vivian didn't drop.
So what am I thinking? It's not bad. I went and did Vivian's trial and I suck with her. So now I'm 79 out of 90 into guaranteed hard pity for Yi Xuan. We still have 9 free pulls to get from and plenty to earn from the events. And I didn't have Rina yet either.
Spending 156 and only getting a Standard Banner Character is not good by any stretch of the imagination but I don't think I'd have been happier if Vivian dropped either. I'd be 0 into pity without a guarantee again so I might have missed Yi Xuan the Void Hunter. If miHoYo builds her anything like Miyabi, she's probably the one we all should want.
Of course if I could have just won the 50/50 I might have had Vivian and Yi Xuan. But you can't win 'em all. Good luck to you guys though!

Gotta love the anti-hoyo crowd and their strategy of cherrypicking information to their claims. Just because I couldn't get Vivian this time this is the “average hoyo experience.” You see so much of that on Twitch and youtube. But you never seem to see them around for the back to back wins or really low pity drops. Before Vivian I had won 3 consecutive 50/50s and got Zhu Yuan, Jane Doe and Burnice. I wasn't really interested in Yanagi or Lighter so losing the 50/50 didn't really affect me. Instead it left me with a guarantee for Miyabi and my current team is the overpowered triple Anomaly team of Miyabi, Burnice, Jane which has trivialized most of the enemies in the game. And now again sure I might have lost Vivian but that's left me 11 to go before hitting hard pity on Yixuan's banner.

same here man, lost the 50/50 on M2 Neko 😂 but maybe it it a blessing in disguise because i will now be guaranteed for Yi Xuan!

Since I've been playing since v1.0 I'm going to assume you mean this "average hoyo experience" is winning 3 consecutive 50/50s before losing your 1st one in v1.3 which sets you up to guarantee Miyabi along with your free Harumasa. Then you alternate between wins and losses on 50/50 so you get Evelyn on a win after Miyabi, lose the next 50/50 but get your first Nekomata and then get Trigger on a guarantee. And then only by v1.7 do you lose another consecutive 50/50 and can't get Vivian after spending into guaranteed soft pity. But just like with Miyabi it sets you up to get Yixuan the next Void Hunter character with only 11 to go before the hard pity? That's a pretty decent gacha experience. Good job hoyo? And hoyo experience implies all the games. In that case this average experience pales in comparison to my so far 4 consecutive 50/50 wins in Genshin for Mavuika, Citlali, Varesa and now Escoffier. I also get to 100% skip the next banner because in v5.0 I won 2 consecutive 50/50s to get Kinich and Ei. I ended up losing the 50/50 for Chasca in v5.2 but at 4 into pity it didn't cost me much so I just kept pulling and got Chasca on the guarantee. And at only 30 something into pity. That's a way better average experience compared to Zenless.
