Blizzard Co-Founder's New Gaming Company Dreamhaven is Shaking Up the Industry

Back in 2020 Mike Morhaime (Blizzard Co-Founder) started a new gaming company called Dreamhaven. After parting ways with Blizzard in 2018, Morhaime decided to return to the gaming industry with a renewed focus on creating high-quality, innovative games. Based in Irvine, California his new company operates as a developer and publisher.
The company launched with two internal studios: Moonshot Games and Secret Door, both are led by Blizzard veterans. Secret Door is focused on making small-scale, experimental projects, while Moonshot aims to create large-scale, ambitious games. Dreamhaven empowers creators and fosters an environment filled with collaboration without external pressure. Morhaime aims to replicate the creative freedom that could be seen in the early days of Blizzard.
A new game will be announced under Dreamhaven banner in October.
